Service and Volunteerism

Iowans are national leaders in volunteer service. In the days following the storms of 2008, more than 50,000 people answered the call of their neighbors in need, and provided comfort and care to the tens of thousands of displaced Iowans. Governor Culver and Lt. Governor Judge know the power of service to others, and have committed the administration to expanding opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and talents to give back in service to our fellow Iowans.Governor Culver participates in the Habitat for Humanity Build-a-thon in Cedar Rapids
