Gov. Kim Reynolds talked about the work she's doing to connect more businesses, families and farmers on Wednesday morning during an interview with RFD-TV, a broadcast group that focuses on rural affairs issues nationwide.

"Iowa is an agricultural state, and for us to take advantage of some of the technologies available, especially for precision farming, and if we want to keep our millennials and our young people, it's important that they're able to connect," Gov. Reynolds said. "And so we were able to get that (Connect Every Acre) passed in 2015, and we've been making progress on really building that out."
