  1. Attorney General’s office request Payment for Expenses Under Iowa Code §7D.10 in the amount of $23,723.75.

  1. Emergency Allocations

  1. Department of Public Safety is requesting a supplemental emergency allocation in the amount of $1,592.92 and payment in the amount of $7,147.45.  On March 6, 2017 State Patrol Car #95 was damaged due to a hail storm in Webster County. Request is to cover repair costs.

 

The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed request and recommends allocation and payment as requested.  This represents full and final payment and this allocation will be closed.  

 

  1. Department of Public Safety is requesting a supplemental emergency allocation in the amount of $91.85 and payment in the amount of $5,797.78.  On May 5, 2017 State Patrol Car #252 was damaged as a result of an accident with a deer in Wapello County.  Request is to cover repair costs.

 

The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed request and recommends allocation and payment as requested.  This represents full and final payment and this allocation will be closed.  


 

  1. Payment of Cost Items

 

  1. Department of Public Safety ………………………………………$3,974.71 On December 31, 2016 Vehicle # 265 sustained damage after hitting a deer on Interstate 380.  Request was to cover repair costs.

 

The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed request and recommends payment, this represents full and final payment and this allocation will be closed.  

 

  1. Department of Public Safety ……………………………………. $6,928.35  On February 28, 2017 State Patrol Car #'s 818 and 834 were damaged by a hail storm in Iowa City.  Request was to cover repair costs.

 

The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed request and recommends payment, this represents full and final payment and this allocation will be closed.  

  1. Department of Public Safety ……………………………………. $7,013.74  On March 6, 2017 State Patrol Car #555 was damaged due to a hail storm in Fort Dodge.  Request was to cover repair costs.

 

The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed request and recommends payment, this represents full and final payment and this allocation will be closed.  

 

  1. Department of Public Safety ……………………………………… $3,277.40  On April 15, 2017 State Patrol Car #481 was damaged due to a hail storm in Logan.  Request was to cover repair costs.

 

The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed request and recommends payment, this represents full and final payment and this allocation will be closed.  

 

  1. Department of Public Safety ……………………………………… $3,043.37  On April 19, 2017 State Patrol Car #236 was damaged due to a hail storm in Reinbeck.  Request was to cover repair costs.

 

The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed request and recommends payment, this represents full and final payment, $179.63 will be reverted and this allocation will be closed.

BOARD OF CANVASS

 

MINUTES

 

AUGUST 21, 2017

 

The Executive Council convened as a State Board of Canvass at 10:06 a.m., in Room G09 in the State Capitol with Governor Kim Reynolds presiding.  Secretary of State Paul Pate (via telephone), Auditor of State Mary Mosiman, Treasurer of State Michael Fitzgerald and Secretary of Agriculture William Northey were present.

Secretary of State’s office presented the Official Canvass Summary of the Special Election for State House District 82 held August 8, 2017.

 

Moved by Secretary Northey and seconded by Treasurer Fitzgerald that the Board of Canvass officially adopts and accepts the Canvass of the votes as they were tabulated.
