Open records information provided by the Office of the Governor in December 2016 On November 28, 2016, Clark Kaufmann of The Des Moines Register requested copies of all emails sent by Ben Hammes dated between November 12, 2016 and November 22, 2016. On December 6, 2016, our office provided a response to this request. Or office provided a CD containing approximately 87 emails and email chains in electronic form, and another 2 pages in hard copy. Redactions were made pursuant to IOWA CODE §§ 22.7(18). No documents were withheld as part of this request. On November 28, 2016, Tony Leys of The Des Moines Register requested copies of certain documents pertaining to managed care organizations. On December 19, 2016, our office provided a response to this request. Our office provided the requester with a CD containing approximately 51 emails, and an additional 24 paged in hard copy. Redactions were made pursuant to law under IOWA CODE §§ 22.7(65). No documents were withheld as part of this request. On November 30, 2016, Russel Neiss requested certain public records relating to correspondence of Governor Branstad, Michael Bousselot, and Ted Stopulous concerning BDS, Senate File 2281, and House File 2331. On December 19, 2016, our office provided a response to this request. Our office provided a CD containing approximately 34 emails and an additional 50 pages in hard copy (front and back) responsive to this request. Redactions were made pursuant to law under IOWA CODE §§ 22.7(18); 22.7(38); and 22.7(50). No documents were withheld as part of this request. On December 12, 2016, Spencer Woodman requested certain copies of public records related to Governor Branstad's email correspondence related to China. On December 19, 2016, our office informed the requester that no documents were found that were responsive to this request. On December 12, 2016, Vanessa Miller of The Gazette requested certain information relating to the applicants to the Iowa Board of Regents. On January 4, 2016, our office provided a response to this request. Our office provided approximately 10 pages in hard copy responsive to the request. Redactions were made pursuant to law under IOWA CODE §§ 22.7(18); and 22.7(50). No documents were withheld as part of this request. On December 15, 2016, Kevin Li of the Iowa Institute for Public Accountability requested copies of certain documents sent to or from Governor Branstad and Donald Trump's Office dated between November 9, 2016 and December 7, 2016. On December 22, 2016 our office informed the requester that no documents were found that were responsive to this request.
