On January 8, 2015, Catherine Lucey, The Associated Press, requested “All applications, excluding confidential background checks, from January 145, 2011 through January 8, 2015, for the following boards: Agricultural Development Board, Economic Development Authority, Iowa Finance Authority Board of Directors, Board of Iowa Innovation Corporation, State Racing and Gaming Commission, State Board of Regents, and Iowa Workforce Development Board.” On February 6, 2015, our office provided 1,647 pages in hard copy. Redactions were made pursuant to Iowa Code section 22.7(18). No documents were withheld. There was a charge of $163.70 for copies.
On January 16, 2015, Tamyra Harrison, Restored2vote, requested (1) the names of individuals who had their voting rights restored in 2014, and (2) the total number of voting applications the office received in 2014 and the names of the individuals who applied for their voting rights in 2014. On February 3, 2015, our office provided one page with the information. There were no documents withheld. There was no charge for this request.
On February 17, 2015, Steven Horn, Desmogblog.com, requested copies of, “Any and all documents, including emails, memorandums, meeting minutes, telephone transcripts, text messages, PowerPoint materials, meeting sign-in sheets, meeting recordings, conference call recordings/transcripts, pertaining to communications or discussions with former Governor Rick Perry and/or his staff regarding the proposed Dakota Access LLC Pipeline owned by Energy Transfer Partners from January 1, 2014 – February 17, 2015.” On February 27, 2015, our office responded that there were no documents responsive to this request. There was no charge for this request.
