Open records information provided by the Office of the Governor in January 2017 On January 3, 2017, Barbara Rodriguez from The Associated Press requested copies of certain emails sent or received by Michael Bousselot relating to China and Donald Trump. On January 18, 2017, our office responded to this request. Our office produced a CD containing approximately 441 emails in electronic form, and another 48 pages in hard copy documents. Redacts were made where required by law pursuant to IOWA CODE §§ 22.7(18); 22.7(38); and 22.7(50). Approximately 9 records were withheld as part of this request as required by IOWA CODE §§ 22.7(18) and 22.7(52). On January 3, 2017, Barbara Rodriguez from The Associated Press requested copies of certain daily schedules of the Governor and Lt. Governor. On January 18, 2017, our office responded to this request. Our office produced approximately 91 pages in hard copy documents. Redacts were made where required by law pursuant to IOWA CODE §§ 22.7(18); 22.7(38); and 22.7(50). No documents were withheld as part of this request. On January 18, 2017, David Martin of STAT News requested a duplicate copy of the responsive documents produced by our office to Tony Leys of The Des Moines Register on December 19, 2016. On January 18, 2017, our office responded to this request by providing a CD containing approximately 51 emails, and an additional 24 paged in hard copy. Redactions were made pursuant to law under IOWA CODE §§ 22.7(65). No documents were withheld as part of this request. On January 12, 2017, Jamie Corey requested certain copies of public records relating to climate change and global warming. On January 30, 2017, our office responded to this request. Our office provided approximately 229 public records on a CD in electronic form. No redactions were made as part of this request, and no documents were withheld as part of this request. On January 31, 2017, Jeff Charis-Carlson of The Iowa City Press-Citizen requested certain copies of applications from individuals who had applied for positions on the Iowa Board of Regents. On February 3, 2017, our office responded to this request. Our office provided 7 pages in hard copy, with redactions made as required by law pursuant to IOWA CODE §§ 22.7(18); and 22.7(50). No documents were withheld as part of this request.
