  1. Emergency Allocations

 

  1. Department of Public Safety is requesting an emergency allocation in the amount of $7,172.94. On May 29, 2016 vehicle #'s 337 and #138 were involved in accidents caused by deer.  Vehicle #337 on Hwy 5 north of Centerville and #138 on River Road in Hancock County.  Request is to cover repair costs.

 

The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed request and recommends allocation, subject to audit of actual invoices.

 

  1. Department of Public Safety is requesting an emergency allocation in the amount of $2,307.00. On May 11, 2016 hail damaged Patrol Car #412 in Council Bluffs.  Request is to cover repair costs.

 

The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed request and recommends allocation, subject to audit of actual invoices.

 

 

  1. Iowa Communications Network is requesting an emergency allocation in the amount of $15,645.55.  On April 11, 2016 ICN cable was damaged due to erosion west of US Highway 34 and Fig Avenue Intersection in Adams County.  Request is to cover repair costs.

 

The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed this request and recommends allocation, subject to audit of actual invoices and supporting documentation and demonstration that no costs covered by the maintenance contract have been included.

 

 

  1. Iowa Communications Network is requesting an emergency allocation in the amount of $4,232.52.  On April 20, 2016 ICN cable was damaged due to erosion on US Highway 34 east of Henry and Jefferson County line.  Request is to cover repair costs.

  1. Emergency Allocations

 

  1. Department of Public Safety is requesting an emergency allocation in the amount of $5,234.08. On June 2, 2016 vehicle #337 was involved in an accident caused by deer.  Hwy 6 near 150th Street in Poweshiek County.  Request is to cover repair costs.

 

The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed request and recommends allocation, in the amount of $4,891.66 disallowing $342.42 in sales taxes, subject to audit of actual invoices.

 

  1. Department of Natural Resources is requesting an emergency allocation in the amount of $2,350.00.   On May 9, 2016 wind caused damage at Gull Point Complex in Dickinson County, request is to cover repair costs.

 

The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed request and recommends allocation, subject to audit of actual invoices.
